Only boots after CMOS clear

Like the title says my MSI 870A-G54 stopped booting yesterday until I clear the CMOS and start it up. I have to do that each time I turn it off to turn it back on. I have tried a new power supply, swapped out RAM and graphics card, unplugged all devices, and updated the BIOS but still having the same issue. I am thinking this board is bad, but I wanted to check and see if anyone had any ideas of things I may have missed in my diagnosis. Seems like no boot issues are pretty common with the low end MSI boards.
 
if you have an old board laying around, try changing the cmos battery. if you don't you could also try taking out the cmos battery and leaving it out while restarting. see if that helps. i had that happen before with one of my other boards. it ended up being the cmos battery dying. this one could be different but its a good start to troubleshooting the issue.
 
Seems like every hour or so I lose an hour time on my windows clock also since this happened. Date stays fine. I will look to see if I have another battery laying around I am sure I do somewhere.
