I never played any game online except CS1.6

but now im looking for a new game.

Do either of those games have custom maps or is it same maps everytime??

and how is the gameplay? In COD4, is it humans vs computer or humans vs humans?

COD4 is a unique experience, but for true team combat, BF2 is untouchable.

i agree with this. you really need to play both games though, they are different experiences and both kick ass.

I'd say BF2 but I think COD4 might be closer to CS in terms of gameplay. At least with BF2, there are plenty of stock maps to play so things don't get too stale. There are also plenty of mods with their own custom maps which are fun for a nice change of pace from vanilla BF2. If you get BF2 be sure to get the Special Forces expansion pack....it adds more unlockable weapons plus a whole bunch of new maps.

I would recommend cod4. Generally they are pretty similar. (and yes its human vs human)
CSS and CoD4 are the 2 games I play the most.
Search & Destroy : Cod4 = de_maps : Cs 1.6
and if you want to get competitive (CAL) I can send you the IP for some great servers that run the CAL/CEVO config's and mod.

hmm probably bf2. I've been playing cs 1.6/CZ for about 6 years and it's still the game I play most. CoD4 has decent graphics but the gameplay gets really boring after a while. The game's extremely easy and there's no sense of team work on the servers you'd usually find. For example...the M16 w/ red dot sight, all you have to do is point at someone, click, hit them anywhere, and they die.

ok I just bought BF2 (complete collection)

Can I use a no-cd crack and play online, i have already entered the legit CD key.....

I used to be in the same position as you, I played cs 1.6 on my shitty laptop for a couple of years. 2 Months ago I got a new desktop and started playing Cod4, it's a pretty unique experience and def worth it, although I feel it get's old fast and can't play straight for more than and hour or two. I haven't tried single player yet but I'm sure it's good too.

Not worth the risk even if you can get away with it. I don't know if punkbuster does any consistency checks or not on the .exe, but if anything like that were to happen, you'd run the risk of tarnishing your name before even getting pretty far out of the gate. Remember that your account is going to follow you a long time in BF2, as you're building up ranks for unlocks, etc, so it's best to play as squeaky clean as you can.

Try a mini image but I wouldn't alter your .exe in any way if playing online. Be sure to check out all the BF2 mods out there also.

as long as the key is legit there is no reason why not. I have done it will almost all of my games, including crysis. It just makes it easier to switch games fast.

is respectfully disagree TF2 is a great game for teamwork along with L4D

BF2 has the potential for multiple well-organized squads. I'd suggest that TF2 is a spam-fest and L4D is a shoot-em-up, and don't really compare. I love them all, for their differences. :)

I played COD4 online for months. Had over 54 thousand kills when it was all said and done. I played COD:WaW online for 10 minutes, havn't played it since. That whole game was just rushed. Not to mention WWII shooters have gotten old and repetitive. There coming out with another Modern Warfare this fall, which I hope is good. MW is one of the few games in recent memory that I felt I truly got my moneys worth and then some.

but its a different kind of teamwork. Your not really a squad. In BF2 there are sections of the game where you MUST work together. That doesnt really happen in TF2. and L4D isnt really a team game. Well, it is and it isn't. You can work as a team, but you dont really have to.

I agree that the teamwork is different in TF2. I mean the medic and heavy are a good team with the uber and having the engineers build guns helps out the team. But its defiantly different than BF2 or COD4. Either game is a must to own. And being that I picked up BF2 for 10 bucks its a great buy.
