Regarding the Sub-1 mm bezels, I see that as a drawback not an improvement.
  • Case Conflict: Protective "raised lips" on cases sit directly atop the 0.8mm edge "trigger zone," creating a physical barrier that hampers the standard Android "Back" swipe gesture.
  • UI Navigation Friction: As the display reaches the physical edge of the chassis, the case frame physically blocks the fingertip before it can reach the extreme pixel perimeter required to trigger "page flips" in app launchers.
  • Ergonomic & Touch Instability: Minimizing the "grip-able" metal frame forces aggressive software palm rejection, often creating dead zones or unintended "ghost touches" during one-handed use.
  • Structural Vulnerability: Shaving the metal frame flush with the glass eliminates the device's "crumple zone," making the screen more prone to damage by transferring drop impacts directly into the glass stack and making screen protectors prone to "lifting" or edge air gaps.

I'm skeptical until these figures are corroborated (I'll believe a 9,000mAh battery when I see it), but I would love this if it came to pass. Fast, actually good cameras, and enough battery to last an entire weekend.

I think most people with even 25% of a brain when it comes to phone and tech knows and can realize that the best way to extend battery life on a phone or laptop is to stripe down and remove any apps and programs they don't use and are not 100% critical as well as not constantly leaving many programs and internet tabs open. As well as turning off Blue tooth and wifi when not in use of it.

Also going to airplane mod when you KNOW you are in a area or building that won't get reception, your phone loses a lot of battery searching for signal in void area's or bad areas.

My apologies if this is not relevant or on topic!

Those only go so far, and to some degree you're repeating stories that aren't strictly true.

It's right that you should get rid of apps you don't really use, but you don't have to worry about apps or browser tabs you've left open — they automatically suspend, and you might actually make things worse by reopening apps and tabs.

There's also not much point to turning off Bluetooth and Wi-Fi these days. They're more power-efficient... and more importantly, you're probably using them a lot of the time, whether it's your earbuds or your home network. You're going to drive yourself up the wall constantly turning them on and off. Cellular service is another matter, but poor reception is hopefully rare for most of us.

To tie this back: phones with silicon carbon batteries, like the OnePlus 15, can already last for two days of demanding use. You don't need to carefully manage your apps and connectivity when you virtually never have to worry about battery life.
