I noted in another thread that the Samsung 840 Pro in 512 GB seems to be unavailable from major suppliers. The 256 GB version is available, and one can buy 2 x 256 GB cheaper than one 512 GB.
What are the cons (if any) of using two of the smaller drives in lieu of 1 larger drive?
Based on my recent experience with Raid 0, I figured I'd not go that route. These would potentially just be two independent system drives.
