• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

One question to mod.

I ve been reading a lot in the Hardforum and reading Kyle in CPU, I finally register with Hardforum for good. I also too a member of Anandtech where I bought and sell parts, my heatware is Colonel. my questions are two.

1 why there is no linux forum

2 why I have to wait 50+ to buy or sell good stuff here.

We have a linux Forum here: http://hardforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=96
(Subforum of Operating Systems)

The reason for the 50+ post count is that we want you to be a member of the community, and contribute and interact with our members before being able to post in FS/FT. (It keeps out bad traders, scammers, and the like).

Be forewarned, though, that spamming to 50 posts is a quick way to get the boot...

Our FS/T forums started out as a place where our members could swap hardware between themselves when the forum was started. It has grown and we have had problems with people just signing up here to trade, which is not the purpose it was designed for. The 50 post limit, like KaosDG stated is to know others and be known to others so we can maintain a certain amount of trust between members. The 50 post limit also applies to the [H]otDeals section.
