One last time, I ask

I am looking for a 50-60 dollar video device that will capture video of me playing Medal Of Honor Spearhead or any other game I wish to record. Fraps slows down my machine so the game is unplayable and I really need some hardware to help out here. Any Ideas?

when capturing with fraps, turn all graphical goodies down, and most importantly, turn the res down as low as it will go.

That should REALLY help with fraps.

save the demos using in-game commands. MOH is quake3 still, last i checked... so try:
g_synchronousclients 1
record "blah"
g_synchronousclients 0 //then start playign the game
stoprecord //when finished with demo

do such as said, lowest vid quality settings as possible. then you can extract the demo to .avi format, and there are programs available to do so for free... google it and ye shall find. theres something else you need to do to get sound out of the demo... but when you play back the demo to record to avi... make sure you crank vid quality way up, and remove GUI interface stuff as needed to make it look professional.... you dont need drawteamoverlay and crap like that on a demo showing off skills.
