About to order my new high end system was wandering will a single PA120.3 rad with Yate Loon fans be enough to cool cpu, mofset, NB, SB and still have room to overclock? The processer is a q9450 45nm.


PS: Getting a Mountain mods UFO Duality case and I just ordered two BFG Gtx 280 H2oC's in which will have its own PA120.3 rad. When all the parts arrive I will post a work log.
 
So, two loops, two separate Res and Rads? Yea, your PA120.3 should easily handle the heat dump of a north/south bridge/MOSFET and the CPU. As far as overclocking, your limit really is the chip. That setup should more than suffice.
 
Yup im also getting EK waterblocks for everything minus the gpu should be ready to put together in like two weeks like i said ill post pics.
 
If you keep the graphic cards on a separate loop from the CPU/NB/MOS you'll be fine, no need to cool the SB unless you're THAT crazy about it, it may or may make your loop more restrictive depending on the blocks.
 
Well i'm going to have two triple rads and two seperate loops one loop is for the gpu's the other cpu,nb,sb,mofset as far as that loop i'm going to get EK waterblocks for those with 1/2" barbs and 7/16 tubing. No mixed metals so im going to use straight distilled water with a dye bomb. I'm getting the mirror acrylic windows and having my own peronsal logo's etched so it will light up with the lighting inside the case. The specs are as follows:

Rad's: 2x PA120.3 w/ Yate Loon
Pump: 2x Swiftech MCP655 12-volt
Res: 2x Swiftech MCRES
Cpu Block: D-tech Fuzion v2 w/ quad insert and easy moutning bracket 1/2"
NB/SB Block: EK NB/SB Waterblock 1/2"
MOFSET Waterblock: EK-MOFSET, EK-MOFSET2 1/2"
GPU's: Come pre-installed with Danger Den Blocks 1/2"

Loop 1:
res,pump,rad,cpu,nb,sb,mofset

Loop2:
res,pump,rad,gpu,gpu

There aren't any real budget constraints other than not being able to get a Extreme Quad also there is one last piece to the puzzle asside from the monitor I will be using a 46" Samsung series 7 LCD as another gaming display. Is a very ambitious project ill keep you posted on what happens.
 
Man I wish I could go all out like that :) Definitely post some pics when you have it up. I wish EK made mosfet blocks for the iP35 Pro - so far they only have nb/sb blocks, but these mosfets get HOT.
