I just purchased the MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum/SLI.
I haven't purchased a sound card in 4 years. However, I am now building an ultimate gaming rig.
The Neo4 has:

Should I purchase a separate/better sound card?

If so, any suggestions? To hell with price...I want a sound card worthy of an ultimate gaming pc. However, I will only be using the sound for games and everday use.
