About 2 months ago I bought my DFI Lanparty II with onbaord 6 channel sound.

The day I got it the sound wouldnt come out of thw left side. But when I jiggle the speaker jack it comes out. Is there something wrong with the drivers? I bought a 30$$ blaster [5 chan].

I miss my better quality but I was too lazy to return it to Newegg.

stupid me :(.

Any suggestions

Ok what do you mean? If you juggle the speaker jack sound comes out, or the jack comes out. When sound is comming out on one channel, its usually a jack problem, not driver.

Get back to us.

Cheers,

ok so i got home and i tried it.

I dont think its the jack.

When i jiggle the jack in and out of the port sound is on both but then cuts out in 2-3 min.

:(

Its the jack. You are getting an intermittant signal. You can try updating your drivers, and also your BIOS (on board). Is it a VIA chipset? Do you have the 4n1 drivers installed? I still think its a jack issue, please prove me wrong.

Check those two soft options first.

Merci!

OK make sure your BIOS is up to date, and check your drivers. Also look for hardware conflicts (still think its the jack).
