Onboard LAN not working

I recently installed a new video card and got lazy and didn't want to detach all the connections so I just took the cover off and swapped it. I pulled it out of it's typical area and it stretched some of the wiring but nothing I haven't done anymore. Sure enough, installed the new video drivers and the lAN isn't working (nor the video drivers but I think it's unrelated). I did a System Restore to before the video card to rule out the video card's drivers as it was the only thing new before the onboard lan stopped working. I got the video drivers working but the lan isn't working. I guess I am trying to justify my problems in some way to just admit it's busted but maybe it's just me.

Here's the motherboard:

GIGABYTE GA-MA69VM-S2 AM2 AMD 690V Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128043
Vista64 OS

Here's what I did:

Verified the cable is not broken
Uninstalled/reinstalled two versions of the drivers including the ones previously used
Disabled/enabled LAN in BIOS

Nothing in Device Manager to indicate they are even installed or any conflict or anything at all. Whenever I check out the Networking, it says no networks exists and when I try to DIagnose/Repair, it says to install a Network Adapter. It's almost as if it's disabled.

Aside from Device Manager, not sure where else I can see anything about this device.
