Hello, I have an Ati Radeon HD 4250 Onboard Vid. Car ( I will be upgrading, but money is an issue right now) Anyway, my Main monitor Is a 42" Vizio LCD, At first i had problems with audio transmitting? it would work and when i would switch back to the computer, it wouldnt work, after getting back after a crash, i cannot get the catalyst uttility to pick up the lcd at all? Any Ideas? My Second monitor Is A Dell E173FP

sounds like you have to hook your audio up with a separate cable to your vizio from your computer. also, I don't think you can run two monitors with onboard video. I have an HD 4200 onboard my computer...I have a DVI and sub-d connection. The DVI connector seems to be for a legacy hook-up...just use the dell for now I guess. Other than that, I don't understand a word you said lol. :p

i had both monitors running for over a month, i know it'll support 2 monitors, just cant get it to pick up both after the reinstall

oops, misread the post.
and yes, you can do dual screens with quite a few motherboards onboard graphics.

i dont really care about the dell via dsub, i *NEED* my 42 inch monitor back, i am killing my eyes straining to this damn "Mini-monitor"

does unplugging and plugging in the video cable cause windows to beep like it is removing/installing a hardware device?

Did you install the latest drivers? Also have you tried a different cable? Have you tried just the screen by itself from boot to windows startup with the dell unhooked?
