Onboard Audio kills games

I currently have an Abit KN9S motherboard and everything works great except that the onboard audio kills many of my games (Oblivion included and I've tested it with the sound disable, which works great... but no sound).

Is there a way to make onboard audio play nice with games or do I have no choice in upgrading to a stand alone card?

If I need to purchase a new card, any suggestions for Vista 64-bit?

Ignore this thread! I got it working by manually updating to RealTek's 1.6 HD Audio driver!
