Onboard 6100 Cooling Question

So I have a Q-Pack and the Epox-9GF6100-M motherboard. For CPU cooling I have one of the huge copper Zalmans. I switched the case exhaust fan to a 120mm Yate Loon intake fan. I figured these things would help reduce some of the noise of the system. However I have determined that the tiny fan cooling the 6100 is making a heck of a whine that I'd like to get rid of.

My question is do you folks know of any passive solutions that will cool the 6100 sufficiently?

This picture is right after Zalman installation but the fan I am talking about is to the right of the Zalman. Please don't flame me for having the electronics on the carpet and all that jazz. I know it wasn't smart I was just excited.
 
Look at a noctua NC-U6 used one in my MicroFly build DreamCatcher. Got mine from jab-tech as they had the best price.

Can't tell from the angle of the picture, but it may clear your HSF... might even be able to be cooled by that beasty! I had all kinds of issues finding an NB cooler to fit, height being one as I had to knotch my chassis so I could remove the mobo tray.

You put that Noctua in a MicroFly? Holy crap, I've been thinking of the same thing all morning. Heh, I gotta go check out your worklog.

Ahh, nevermind Jedi. It looks like I won't be able to use that heatsink afterall like I was hoping. It'd be super close to my video card... see. Well, it might work.

Miami: Sorry to hijack your thread. The only cooler I know of that might work would be a this Enzo unit.

I think it will be fine even with a small heatsink. My shuttle has the 6100 and its cooled with just a basic heatsink maybe 1" tall.
 
^-- yeah thats what im hoping, ill probably just slap a zalman heatsink on there and call it a day. since the gigantic 7700 is right next to it im sure the residual air blast will end up making everything fine.
