I got the latest Omega drivers and omg are they fast. Ive got an X800 Pro, sweeter than butter. But the driver crashes on me, my game crashes to desktop, VPU Recover says that it has reset my graphics driver, and then my monitor goes to sleep mode and I have to do a hard restart. Anyone else have this problem. I reverted back to ATI's 4.10's. I'd really like to use the Omegas b/c of the huge speed boost. Help, my Aquamark 3 scores need you!!!

How long into playing games or doing a benchmark does it crash? I've had some crashes using the Omega 2.5.90's and I'm assuming this is what your using. My crashes usually take place after about an hour and a half of gaming, I play with everything at 1600 4x 8x. I lower my resolution, aa and af when playing online and don't crash. Not sure if its the drivers or a heat issue though.
Yeah, this usally happens about 20 minutes into the game. I dont know how a graphics driver reset would be caused by heat. weird, well teh Omega 2.5.90's are based on ATI's 8.07 beta which is basically the 4.11 drivers which will be released soon, so we can only hope that these performances increases that are in teh 8.07's are inhereted by the whql cert 4.11's. Hopefully....
Well i ran the DNA drivers and had good luck with them.. I'm running the Omega drivers now and think the DNA drivers were a little faster... Specially with Aqua... Anyhow I'm running a X800XTPE and haven't had a problem with crashing unless I've got my card cranked to high... but running 520/560 everything is fine... (flashed X800pro)
