right click and got to properties then settings and see what video card is running on your moniter my soft modded 9500 shows as a 9700pro

granted your score has improved but i find it is still sub par to other 9700 scores. unless your system is greatly bottlenecking your performance, something is wrong

I'm sure omegas work alright but I personally Approve of DNA-drivers.nl

I find them a bitter better performance/quality wise.

Those numbers are from 3DMark03.

Mine can't softmod to 9700, only to a 9500pro.
Any way I can tell, or do I have to flash the bios?

I'm gonna try these right now.

Do they have the softmod included like the omegas?

and not to get offtopic - but whats the difference between the 9500 => 9500 pro softmod and the 9500 => 9700 softmod?

I remember reading on another forum site where the DNA were benched against the Omegas. The DNA drivers did VERY bad due to crashes and systems re-installs. The Omegas worked flawless.

I am using omega drivers and I love them. I tried to change to the ATi drivers and switched back imediatly. They do better performance wise, although they are harder to remove...

Big negative on DNA's not being stable becuase on my system they sure are and I play a large amount of games and a lot of photoshop. Maybe you should ahve tried them yourself and posted your experience just like me?

I tried using the omega drivers and I couldn't get BF 1942 DC mod to work. Would load all the way then crash. Once I uninstalled the omega ones and did the ATI ones, the game worked just fine.

That DNA vs OMEGA review was very biased, alot of people don't like the DNA guy because apparently they were saying he just steals omegas drivers repackages them and distributes. But, as of now his drivers based on 4.1 catalyst are out before the omegas.:D
