Hey guys, I know a lot of you use the Omega Drivers for your ATI and Nvidia cards. I've been looking for new omegas that would work with my x800xl, and I recently stumbled across this:

Hi everyone, I just want to say a few words, this is going to be long, so please excuse me...

First of all, sorry for my absence.

Second, I don't know if u have noticed, but the modded driver community has become a joke, there are so many wannabe's trying so hard to become someone around the world, and unfortunately, for them, this has become competition to get the "best driver set" out, well, let me clue them in, they are just making things worse, in fact, they are damaging the community as a whole, why?, people that don't know ANYTHING about what a video driver is and want to keep their PC up to date are getting confused, there are so many driver options that the only posts you see in forums are "Which drivers are better?" or "Which driver should I use?", with the following responses of over 10 different driver sets, which of course, doesn't help at all.
Right now I feel like I'm not needed anymore in the community, almost no one is sponsoring my work and I feel like a left over, I don't even feel like making any other driver set since I think it will be another worthless effort, copycats just want to compete and I don't feel like that, I prefer they do their own battles and I stay on the margin of offering a good alternative product that fills the necessity of the people, but like I said, that's just a thought, don't take this as the end of the Omega Drivers cause is not.

Third, I want to let you know some things that have been happening in my life recently and why the lack of updates...

Well, I'm currently unemployed, so is my wife, we both have been trying to get a job but things are very difficult here in Puerto Rico, just like the rest of the world, the only thing that has been keeping me (not the site) alive is the site sponsorship and the donations, and both have been steadily decreasing over the past months, in part is my fault since I haven't been doing updates lately, but many people fail to see the importance of advertisement in websites, many think "other people is supporting the site, my support is not needed", but that is completely wrong, each grain of sand contributes to make a beach, so no matter how little your support may be, at least is something. I have tried to keep my site with almost no advertising just to keep visitors happy, since I know how much people hate to enter a site and be bombarded with advertisements, pop-ups and such nuisances. I also understand many of my visitors are young, have no work, live with their parents, are at college or may be in a situation worse than I am, to those people I don't ask anything from them except their support and prayers, but I know there are some visitors that do have plenty of resources and power within the industry, to those ones I ask for help, remember that an act of good faith will be always be compensated by God.

I planned to dedicate myself to the site and drivers only, but these events and the current state of the driver community makes me think twice about it.

We've all used his drivers in the past, and I think we should try to do something as a community to show him support. I know a lot of you have probably already given your support and your money, but for those of you that haven't, please consider it. This individual has made a great impact upon the OC community, and it would be a shame to lose such a member because of lack of support. Thank you,

Well, I've tried to use his drivers in the past, but over the course of several releases and different machines there was always a problem.
He was supposed to be teaming with AW for the money cause their laptops were going to start using his drivers. Wonder why that fell through.

I only use official drivers, that way when something goes fubar, I know why.
