Omega drivers and widescreen

I was about to purchase a Dell 2007wfp to go with my (old) latitude c640, when I realized that the mobility radeon 7500 driver I have won't do widescreen (16:9) resolutions. I've heard the Omega Drivers ( http://www.omegadrivers.net/ ) make more resolutions available, but I'm a little bit nervous about using them on this laptop, since it's owned by my employer.

Has anyone here used the omega drivers before? How did they work for you?

Does anyone have any other ideas about how to get a widescreen display working with a mobility radeon 7500?

Omega drivers are nothing more than tweaked official/beta drivers from Nvidia and nothing to be afraid of....you can always roll back if they cause problems.
