Omaura TF8 Question

Hey a friend of mine is offering to sell me his TF8 for a good price the only problem is the power light is dead... is this something easy to fix ?

Also can a Omaura TF8 take a full size CD-Rom drive and not a slim drive? Let me know guys THANKS!

tried google everywhere i go says something different. So sites say both slim and reg some say just slim some say just reg. I thought i might someone that put a tf8 together first hand. And there isnt even a clue on what kind of led th power light uses.... or if it even is an LED

As far as the light goes. it is probably an LED and you will probably not find any information anywhere on earth about replacing it. You will have to see the case and find the LED itself then find a replacment. I would be very suprised if the LED is dead. More likely the cable is broken or installed wrong. I have never seen a dead power led itself, always a broken or incorrectly installed cable.
