I'm a display noob. What's the benefit of an OLED?

Benefits of an active matrix OLED:
Blacks = pixels turn off
No backlight = no bleed ever
Perfect color accuracy
No viewing angle issues
Cheap to mass produce
<.01ms response time
Lower power consumption than an LCD

wouldn't go with perfect color accuracy cause the base colors might weaken at different rates making consistent color a problem. (blue wears out much faster than the others) but other than that I'm with you.
