we have an older 14inch lcd in our room, and its showing all red. red and dark red/black. i think it got hit with a flying shoe (oh dont ask...) and i wanted to know if its at all fixable. I've got good electronics knowledge, but i'd like to know before going in what i'm looking for and whether or not its actually worth it.

I had a LCD monitor that did the exact same thing and it turned out to be the VGA cable that was bad. If not, then it probably isn't worth fixing since it's only a 14" model.
