These were taken after about 3 hours of work, and there's much more to come.

Sorry about the picture quality, i have to capture stills from my DV cam, and I'm not very good at it yet

This is an overview of the whole backside

Closer in on the lower section

The PSU mounts, we stole mounting panels from a couple old AT cases.

The Athlon 800, mounted upside-down as you can see

The Pentium 3 600, an old dell

The hard drives mounted in the front

We're working on mounting my 26 port switch and CD drives tomorrow. We're also thinking of putting in a cathode and KVM switch in, as well as an extending arm for the monitor.

folding, team #33... go, now... go go go!

I want to cluster them, but I'm not sure what OS to use. I'm kind of pathetic on the Linux side, but I do hear that Server 2003 allows clustering without a shared SCSI device.

Oh, and we're making a backplate so you won't have to see all our patching ugliness. Don't know whether to use wood, plastic, or metal for the back yet.

YO! can u say water cooling? this would be perfect for it! nice idea you got going there i wanna see it done

The plan right now is for that arm to hold a monitor. It extends and rotates 360, so the only limit will be the monitor cabling. It is a bit heavy though, we need to find a way to add more weight to the bottom.

We haven't really seen the need for watercooling when we look at the specs of the systems going in there, but when we get some spare cash, we're gonna swap out for more modern equipment. Unless anyone wants to make donations.......
Seriously, I know SOMEONE has to have phat stacks of SDRAM they aren't gonna use anymore
