Ok I figured this would be the best place to ask. I am looking for a really old pool game. I remember playing it at a friends house way back in the day.

It had pretty decent graphics and good physics(was not some cheap free game)

I remember that it had kinda like a story line were you had to work up reputation(I think) to challenge the leader of the room (who played a specific pool type like 8 ball or 9 ball) to move on to other rooms.

I really want to know the name so I can go buy it for nostalgia. Any help if anyone remembers anything like this and can point me in the right direction I would know it if a saw a screen shot.

Sounds like one of the Virtual Pool series. The latest is Virtual Pool 3. I remember playing the first one (or two) when I was little--it was tons of fun. They promoted it (accurately) as a good way to learn the principles of physics in a pool game. Unfortunately, I never got very good at either the real thing or the simulated one.

I have a feeling it is not Virtual Pool. It all took place in one pool hall I am pretty sure.

And I think it was kinda quirky, I remember very distinctly one of the girl opponents being very erm... proportioned( I WAS YOUNG) if that is anything to go on.

It definitely sounds like Virtual Pool 3.
The top pool player is female with largish sandwiches.

Great game, I still play it even though I have a real table.

I found it! Maybe ICC says it came out in 2006 but I know the game I played is older than that, I know I played it in highschool or maybe even before that.

The reason I could never find it in the past when I half assed looked for it was because there was no pool in the title!

such a weird game, you have to go into "virtual chat room" to set up matches vs the computer npcs and stuff. But it is awesome.
