I have a lineup of 10 dip switches but I have NO idea how/what order they go in and what for.Originally posted by hi tech hate
if there arent any dip switches then there must be jumpers, lots of them.
my old packard bell motherboard had a line of 10 jumpers that i had to fool around with to get my pentium 200 mhz MMX cpu up to 233 mhz.
those were the days

Anyone? I just need to know how/what dip switches to set, or what. The CPU model is A80502-100

It doesn't and there's only 1 bank of switches =\

I sent a 90MHz P1 to 202MHz just by removing one jumper.
Of course, those were the days of quarter-sized HSFs, and where AMD, Intel, and Cyrix CPUs all fit on the same boards...

Yep. Cyrix was somewhat strange, too... Their chips ran faster, but were slower...
K6 2's kicked ass. You can really give those chips a kick in the pants if you know what you're doing.
I'm glad AMD moved to socket A. And I'm also glad they stuck with Socket A until now.Socket 7-> Slot A -> Socket A
