Old OEM SB Card

I have an old Dell SB 5.1 Live soundcard (model # SB0200).

How would it compare to some of the current p35 onboard sound solutions?

I.e. the P35-DS3G, or similar motherboards.

There may be a slight improvement, but I'd be tempted to stick with the onboard sound so I didn't have to deal with Creative's terrible drivers.

Onboard has come a long way...I'd pass on the Live in favor of onboard as well...

Software based!

You wont notice the difference.

And onboard offers a lot more features.
