I am working out the details on how to fit a PC (most likely mATX) into a an old Mac IIcx case(It is not for me, it is for a mac using friend that wants a PC). It looks easy at first, but I am debating how to mount the Motherboard. The whole case is really more like a big plastic tub so I am not for sure that I want to just drill into it and I am worried glueing clips/mounts wont be strong enough for a motherboard(Any one have experience with that).
The case does have slide in method where the old motherboard fit in, I am thinking about cutting a piece of metal to fit in, and putting the motherboard on that.
I am also worried about how to put the mounting brackets on the plastic, and suggestions for mounting methods (types of glue)
I am not to worried about the rear. Looks like I can just cut out most of it that I dont need. The PSU is going to have to move, but I dont know where since I haven't figured out how to mount the PSU.
I wrote up a little bit more at my website
I have just started, hopefully I can get to the cutting pretty soon.
