Hey, I recently got a "new" computer at a garage sale. The important specs are:

333mhz Cyrix Processor
32mb RAM
2.1gb HD
40x CD-ROM drive

Anyone have any ideas on what to use it for?

Folding appeals to me, however, I am wondering if I should install a different OS on it to do this. Either way, I will have to re-install some OS on it (teh install that is currently on it is totally borked), but I don't have a copy of WIN98SE, and any drivers for any network hardware I have require at minimum SE. If I should install another OS on it, what OS and version would you recommend for folding? And does anyone have any other ideas as well?

folding would be so horribly slow on that...it's not worth it. Cpu's that don't have SSE aren't worth the electricity they take to fold.

how about you learn unix on it? throw some BSD or linux distro on it and have fun.
