Old HDD

My Mobo recently quit on me so I went out and bought a few new parts for a revamp (CPU, GPU, PSU, MB) but kept all the older stuff (HDD, RAM, IDEs) because it was only about a year old. Now I have everything assembled and running... but I can't get anything off the old HDD before I format it because it's passworded via Windows and won't allow me to access any of My Documents.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

InvasionANC~

i dont remember exactly (or even knon if it still works for that matter) because it has been a while, but if u have xp, u can use a windows 2000 boot disk set and go to the recovery console and gain access from there. Try searching on google for a bit and see if u can find anything
