Ok heres the scoop, I have an older HD in my possesion that I need to take data from. I was going to hook it up as a slave on my comp and just take off what I need but my ide connector does not have enough sockets for as many pins as the hd has. What can i do?

Sounds like the drive is prob a scsi drive. If thats the case you would need a scsi controller, cable, and terminator.
