I’m looking for something that I’m not expecting to find but figured here would be the best place to ask


I have an old Compaq ipaq pocket PC that I bought back in 2002. It became obsolete several years ago and I tossed it in my closet to collect dust with my other old PC stuff, it sat in there until last month when my sister noted it and asked to have it.


My sister buys a lot of books and took it with the idea to buy a bar code reader attachment, scan codes on books to obtain title then download the information to her PC. She has been unable to find anything for the ipaq that would do this and asked me to help. I informed her that the ipaq is obsolete and it was doubtful she would find what she is looking for but I would help as I could.


Anyone know of anything like what she is looking for?
