Hey everyone, my dad just got a new dell computer to replace his 5 year old gateway, and was just going to throw it away, so I told him that befroe he did that i would liek to grab some parts that i might be able to use. Its a 1Ghz P3, 75 gb harddrive, and has a Geforce 2 graphics card.

I was wondering if you guys think it would be better/easier to just take the hard drive and put it in my comp (3 year old Dell, P4 1.5 ghz) or to take the processor, harddrive, ram, and graphics card and buy a small case and motherboard and have another pc.
If you guys think that just grabbing the harddrive would be best, how hard is it to install in my comp, and if you think building a new comp is best, any links to good P3 motherboards (preferably small).

Thanks

if u are going ot throw it out send the parts my way.... anyways the simplest thing would be to just put the hd in ur computer and it takes about 2 minutes if u like to screw all the screws in and be neat

dont think its worth it to get a cheap small case and motherboard for a tiny PC?
