I got some arctic silver 5 that has been stored in room temperature for about a year which is kinda cool room temp.

My question is, is it still good? Or should i go buy a new syringe of as5?

it should be fine, to make sure squirt a little out and to see if it still has the same consistency

lol i did that a long time ago and it ended up squirting all over my hand

I had a tube thingy of AS2 around for years and it worked fine until the very end. Only needed a tiny bit for socket A CPUs. It should be fine - apply it normally and see if you have overheating issues.

I always put my as5 in air tight bag =X only cuz i have like 8 syringes of the stuff lol :p

But yeah it should be fine..

I used AS3 from the same tube for at least a couple years and it was fine. I imagine AS5 will be fine, too.

plus shipping.

kinda irks me to get charged $5 shipping for a measly little tube which would fit in a padded envelope

yeah, tell me about it.

Its matured like wine and alcohol does , its worth five times more.......................only kidding, it should be ok

I have had the same tube of AS5 for over a year, works fine....lasts a long time, especially if you have it in a cool environment and keep it capped off.
