I'm torn between 2 memory sticks, for my new build Gigabyte 965P DS3 , E6400.

I'm after 2gb of Corsair XMS memory, but unsure in which one to buy

DDR2 667 timimings 4-4-4-12 or DDR2 800 timmings 5-5-5-12

Both are approximately the same price but don't know which will benefit myself. I will be definately OC my rig, to around 3.0-3.2ghz.

Is it better to go for a larger memory or faster timmings ??

Thanks in advance for your help.

DDR2 800 timmings 5-5-5-12

I have tried them both and the 667 goes to 780mhz at cas 4 , then you loosen them to cas5 and you will get them to 850. The ddr800 cas5 should get to 900mhz to 950mhz .
