Ok, mini upgrade time

Ok, i can get a A64 3200+ with an Asus K8V Deluxe se, for 179$ CAD, and im wondering, a, is it worth it(i know it is but im still asking) and b, how is that motherboard for overclocking? i have a gig of ocz eb 3500 and a 9800pro already.

So basicly how is the asus board for overclocking?

Oh and btw, right now i have a DFI infiinty and a mobile 2500@2.4

well, its a part of a deal im getting from one of those bestbuy amd deals, i guess i could sell the motherboard and just buy a new one.

wut would be another good motherboard other then the msi?(just wondering)

Asus K8N-E Deluxe, I believe it also has a PCI/AGP lock.

i heard that the k8v has problems with some ram, and i was looking at the "approved ram" on the asus site, and they didnt have my ocz, so, im gunna have to get a new board, so you guys would recommend the msi board?

that is one HELL of a deal! isnt that like 140-150 USD? on newegg the proc itself is like $220! how are you getting this?

ya the processor alone is ~310 CAD, the motherboard is 170 cad, lol.

Damn, that is a good deal, I got the same basic package (plus shirt and farcry) for 190ish US. The board isn't good for overclocking but it runs pretty sweet and very stable in non-OC mode.

you'd be crazy not to get that deal... i got the same pair last month and i thought i was getting a bargain at 324 US
