We're gonna need in order of importance: The resolution you currently play (or intend to play at), CPU (clocks and # of cores), rest of system specs.

Consider RMA'ing your card? 4890 is still a nice card around GTX 460 performance IIRC

I picked up an Asus 2gb 6950 for my upgrade and I gottta say... For a single card solution I am loving this card.

6950 and 6870 is the best cards for the money ATM

Yeah, that thuban is powerful enough to get the most out of a 6950. What is your budget?

Get a 6950 and unlock it. Best route imo and going any lower wont net you significant gains over your old card.
