I will be purchasing a set of computer speakers soon and want to get all of your opinions. I have an Epox 8rda+ with soundstorm and don't plan on upgrading the sound card for a little while. My choices are as follows...

Logitech Z5300's $99 + $20 for shipping
Logitech Z680's $199 + $25 for shipping
Klipsch 5.1 ultras $288 plus tax

I plan on getting an XBOX in the future and from what I've read the Z680's decoder is really nice for that but the hissing problem kind of makes me thing otherwise. The Klipsch get a lot of good reviews but the lack of a remote at that price just sucks. Advise away!

*edit* I listen to a lot of music, mostly rock. With the occasional DVD and frequent games of Halo.

get either the 680's or the klipsch's

and then it dependso n what ya want or need them for. 680's are prolly better for movies.

Klipsch: better for music
680s: better for games (especially w/XBox)
Both are great for movies, but Klipsch center channel is better IMHO.
Based on the sorts of things you'll be using it for I think you'd be equally happy with both, so save the $$ and go with the 680s. And yes, that suggestion is coming from a guy who loves his Klipsch :)
btw, where are those prices from?? That's considerably lower than any of the stores online and off I frequent.
