I’m in the process of building a new computer. I just wanted to know if everything was compatible before I hit the “Submit order” button

Here is what I will be using from my old computer

http://www.lsi.com/storage_home/pro.../megaraid_scsi/megaraid_scsi_3202e/index.html

4 GB of CORSAIR ValueSelect 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 533 Memory

2 HP U320 74GB SCSI Hard Drives 15k RPM & (2) 80 to 68PIN SCA Adapters. I also have the appropriate scsi cables w/ terminators. I will be also using my current DVD drive

Here is what I will be purchasing this weekend:

Everything should play together nicely, no? I’m open to suggestions/modifications on how to improve this build (if needed)

What do you guys think?
:D

Get a new PSU. Check out the recommended PSUs in the PSU Buying guide over at the PSU forums:
http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1045259

If you want to OC, get some g.skill DDR2-800 ram ($210 for 2GB at the egg). Also, dont forget the AS5. If you want better speeds, get an aftermarket cooler like the scythe ninja plus or tuniq tower.

If you don't want to get a new PSU nor want to OC, you're choices are fine the way they are.

Agreed, that TT psu isn't exactly great. Also, you know you need to run Windows x64 or some sort of 'nix to see all 4gb of RAM, right?

Yes, I will be installing Windows XP x64. There shouldn’t be any driver issues with x64 and the 8800GTS right? All I do mostly is some occasional video editing, rip DVD’s into Divx, and play games

Should be ok, the only driver issues I've had with x64 are for my M-Audio 5.1. I run a 7600gt currently and never had a problem with it.
