Just hooked up my 30" display...2560x1600.

:O

Now I know what you guys mean...
 
Once you have tasted the forbidden resolution, there is no going back.
 
I dont know how you guys do it, just having a 24", I have to use peripheral vision to the see the corners
 
recently i sat myself closer to my 32" 720p lcd tv and had to sit back because it felt wierd having to move my eyes so much to look left or right.

i can't imagine having a 30" display for my pc, lol.

They have bigger eyes than us mortals

I was trying the EU3 demo last night, and the little icons in the lower right corner of the screen are TINY. Had to lower the resolution from 1900~ X 1200 just to see them.

I didn't like my 3007-HC as much until I got lasik, though. Now I can push the thing back two feet and still read the text clear. It's nice having a big, single piece of glass for reading docs, and for gaming it's just nuts.

I have 2x 3007-HC screens and run 5120x1600. You do get used to a single screen, but I do find the second screen a strain. I have icons on the far side of one screen and there's no way anybody could read the icon text as it is just tiny from a distance. Pron is amazing though :O

That would be one mighty expensive hooker.

Pretty sure he could get a mail order bride for that much... and maybe even keep one of the monitors :D

Then you have not experienced the love of sitting 3 feet back from a nice 37" 1080p display...

...pffft.....30 inchers are babies ;)
