OG Microsoft Sidewinder replacement

Hi all,
As stated above, my mouse is starting to wear out, the scroll wheel has been worn smooth and clickless over the years. I have tried the new EVGA Torq 10x and didn't like it. The mouse is really strange about acceleration without it's software package, and I couldn't seem to find a comfortable position for the ergo adjustment either. Bummer, because it's a nice chunk of hardware!

So, for a fairly large handed claw gripper, is there anything out there that's worth looking at? Anyone have an opinion on the G.Skill Ripjaws MX780? I like the idea of a pinky shelf since I'm on a RatPad...

Or I might just grab something cheap off of Az....

Personally, I've always preferred Razer. Owned a Diamondback and Mamba and they're great mice usually get at least 7-10 years out of them.

Yea- I really want to see that one in person, it might be all that... And Amazon has remanufactured ones for $80...

If you like the SideWinder mouse so much, get a replacement, there's some on eBay for $20-75 at this time (depending on where it needs to be shipped to).

Yea, I thought os that but keep seeing the v.3 version, but not the original. I'll have to keep an eye open!
