Hi,

Before starting a thread, I was curious as to a FS/T rule and if posting would violate:

(10) No multi-level marketing schemes. (PYRAMID Schemes)

The concept of signing people up to sign others up to get free stuff, right? I've had experience with sites that are similar, but not schemes. Ones that actually include signing up and doing an offer and getting a free item. it's the same thing that Dish Network has going where you sign up a friend you and them get $50 and they get a free DVD player too. Just curious where this falls.

If I were to offer $10 to complete a simple offer (free trial and cancel after a little time) would that be against the rules? Thanks for the help in advance!

Ben

Specifically the rule number I thought it did? It could be considered a trade....money for that service..

Yeah those two letters. I'll pay you off major :p

Thanks for letting me know. I figured it would be smarter to ask then go ahead and post and possibly get banned. Was just so hopeful... *tear*

:)

It would fall a little under the Pyramid rule and partly under this:

(22) The buying, selling, trading or solicitation of SERVICES is prohibited.

It is not specifically covered, but falls somewhere in the middle of those two rules.

Interesting post OP thanks for asking.. had been wondering this myself.
