"Cyberpunk battle royale" being made by sci-fi film director Neil Blomkamp. Looks like we would have rather made a movie than a game, but hopefully we'll see some gameplay soon.

If it is a multiplayer game then those pre-rendered scenes are pointless. Game will probably be trash, or at best the people who enjoy PUBG and Fortnite will be into it. But at this point with PUGB, Fortnite, Warzone and Apex Legends I think battle royale is too crowded. Good luck competing with Epic, Activision and EA.

Missed this one. I wonder when and if they'll have an actual game to show?

The game has potential but the drill seargent spews non stop graphic pornographic quips. It's too much, good luck going mainstream talking like that.

noticed all the streamers pushing this game so I decided to check it out. What a giant mess of a game. Runs like absolute crap on my rig with a 3080ti. I’m talking less than 30fps and very chunky. After messing with the settings and moving everything to low I tried to get a full game in…I can only describe the game as ADD…so much going on…like too much. Shotguns are op, your arms and legs have different abilities but you just have to figure it out on your own, oh and you can fly. Some kind of extraction based loot system and some kind of crypto deal as well. Either way after I died I immediately uninstalled the game.

Would not recommend unless you really love BR’s…

I saw a video with an optimization guide that got him up into the 80-100fps range consistently but it's an early access game for a reason.

One of the things I like about Apex Legends is that there are so many information streams you have to manage at one time - your ammo, supplies, health, your team position, the ring, next ring, not getting locked into an area and cut off, potential forced ambushes and choke points, etc

They do a very good job of making each Legend visually identifiable and giving visual and audible clues about every threat and attack and your Legend will automatically call out issues like a new squad or if the ring is about to move - so even though there is a lot to manage, you have ways to know what you need to know.

In OTG, I didn't observe that they have a good system for gleaning a lot of this information in real time - maybe they do and I just haven't played enough to understand it but I felt there was a huge information and communication deficit if you're not playing with people you know.
