So my old mobo died, and I'm also replacing some other components,
My HDD has OEM XP on it, and I have an XP recovery CD.
I read that you have to do a repair from the XP CD to detect the new mobo etc, and then you have to call microsoft and ask them to reactivte your liscence.
Will this process work with an OEM XP "recovery CD"?
The other option is to get a new PC, but I want my old XP back.
