Which is better? Is there a difference? I'm looking at buying a Q6600 from Newegg within the next day or 2.
 
I knew that but I was under the impression that the oem versions were of lower quality. Is this correct or are they the same chips with and with out HSFs? Thanks for replying.:)
 
OEM - no HSF, 1yr warranty.
Retail -> HSF, 3yr warranty.

No difference otherwise.
 
Thank you very much. The reason I ask is that I have an Enzotech Ultra waiting for a chip to cool so I don't need the stock cooler and it will save me about $25. thanks again.:D
