I left my computer running last night, only to come back this morning to find my monitor greeting me with the message "Please check your computer's display mode." I reboot, and everything is fine. It's never done this before. Any idea what could be going on here?
 
Perhaps it was someone messing with you using the built in windows messaging service...

If you don't have a firewall, anti-virus, spyware-removal software and a pop-up blocker,

get those now!
