I was in Windows 7 Explorer when a purple vertical column appeared on my LCD screen. It is about a 2 pixel wide 1050 pixel tall (top to bottom of screen) neon purple line that appears over every application, even the LCD's "No Signal" screen, so it is not a video card problem.

The line disappear after a few minutes, but then reappeared 15 minutes later. It has has been over a day and it has not gone away.

I have tried stuck pixel programs such as Undead Pixel which simply rotates throughout a set of colors, but it has not helped.

The neon purple line is very noticeable on a black bacground but it is not very noticeable on a white background.

The screen is is a BenQ FP202W and it is not under warranty.

Any solutions?

Hmmmm... sounds like its dying... if you can live with it great, but it seems that you may be looking for a replacement...

Dying? You mean its slowly breaking? Would a LCD exhibit a greater frequency of stuck pixels towards the end of its life cycle?

That's usually the trend. It will get worse over time. If I were you I would start looking for a replacement.
