I have installed two GTX 580's in SLI in my ASUS P8P67 Deluxe mobo. The issue I am having is that one cards video output is active from post until just before windows login, then it goes into sleep mode. The other card is in sleep mode until until windows login, then it becomes active.
Anyone have an idea as to what is going on?

have you tried switching the video cable to the other card or outputs? Don't have if 580s have two dvi's on each card. My 460's do

Boot up in safe mode and reinstall the latest whql drivers. Configure your SLI and reboot.

Thanks, that worked. I had originally installed the latest whql when I also installed the second GTX 580 and a New ASUS VG278HR 3D monitor. There was a bit of confusion as the SLI did not work when first installed and later the video glitch appeared. I had updated my mobo bios and I had yet to reload the vid drivers. Everything is good now.
Thanks again.

I deal with these sort of isssues with my customers at work. I'm glad I could help!
