Odd Problem Recoginzing Hard Drive????

I was moving some parts from one case to another and now when I start the machine, it sits for a long time "auto-detecting primary master." It will then say system disk not detected and will halt. I reboot the machine and it sits again for about 45 seconds on the auto-detect part and then will find the drive and boot. If I go into the bios, it sees the drive correctly but on restart, forgets it. It always fails to find a drive on first boot and always finds it the second time.

The odd part is when it was in the other case, it always booted quickly the first time and all I did was pull the parts out and put everything back into the new case.

Any ideas what to try to fix this annoying problem
 
Good catch, the power supply is the only different item. I will swap them tonight.....BTW it is on the same motherboard
