Odd Problem... If A Problem

In the I use I have an odd problem, my 3DMark scores are backwards. As I use older versions of 3DMark my score drops, starting with 2001. I don't know why this is, but it happens, I've been trying to figure out my problem, so far no luck.

3DMark03: ~4700
3DMark2001 SE: ~11700
3DMark2000: ~9500

I've added more fans for cooling on all of my components, overclocked, changed the video settings, changed every setting I can find that would affect video performance. My problem is the same on all Catalyst versions, I have no clue why... Any ideas on why this would be

ASUS A7V600
Athlon XP 2500+
512MB Corsair PC2700
80GB Samsung 7200RPM
20GB IBM 7200RPM
Sound Blaster Live 5.1
Powercolor ATI Radeon 9700PRO
Windows XP Pro, with all updates

Are there any programs that are running in the background because that can be sucking some ram and some cpu percentage and giving you a bad score.
