Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
CHKDSK came up when I re-hooked everything up and it had errors. Do you think I killed anything. What should I do to check? A few rounds with memtest86, prime95 and hdtach?
What kinds of errors were they? Sometimes, all of my drives will have errors (such as free space being miscalculated). So some types of errors are more common than others.
Prime95 and memtest86 would be two great stress testers, and if both of those show no problems (and your hard drive doesn't constantly get errors), then I wouldn't worry too much. Probably just coincidence.
