Odd Message Pre-Load Screen (Intel D975XBX2)

I recently installed the newer revision of Intel's D975XBX2 in order to install a C2D CPU, and everything went fine, as usual with any of the many builds I've done, but I'm getting an odd message on boot:

"No hard disk detected" - though it actually boots fine.

It's when it's doing the sys check prior to the load screen, with BIOS number etc. and has something to do with the Marvel Raid set-up (mentions checking it/setting it up), perhaps... though I don't run RAID.

Though my system boots just fine with no problems despite this, I'd like to figure out why I'm getting this message - just in case, and to be informed.

I've tried everything, even down to replacing the cable and putting it on different (all four) of the SATA connections.

It detects the drive in the BIOS, but since this BIOS is slightly different, is there something a little different (or maybe just odd) with this board that can cause this that needs to be changed?

Anyway, thanks and hope someone knows.

There are two separate raid controllers on there, I get the same message, when nothings plugged into the Marvel controller. No worries.
 
Disable the Marvell controller and you'll get a little faster post times as well..just FYI
 
Update to the latest BIOS, and you won;t have a problem with the HDD LED issue. The Windows-based BIOS flash works fine, BTW. At least in my case, the install poster was wrong and I had to flip the connector to get the light to work, however.

There are 8 SATA connectors on the board. . .the 4 black ones are the Intel chipset ones, and the 3 blue ones and the red ones are on the Marvell controller. If you're not using these, disable them in the BIOS.

The other thing I noticed is that an old SATA 1 drive I tried to hook up was not recognized, not in the BIOS or in Windows, but it could have been a bad drive.
