Odd message from vsphere

Power failed here. ESXi shutdown and rebooted. Looking in log, I saw a message like:

"Configuration file for on hyper.xxx.com in ha-datacenter cannot be found.

Looks like a turd of some kind from an earlier error. Doesn't seem to be causing a problem, but I'm curious what it is (and how to clean it up...)
 
I'm assuming this is a message that came up in vCenter about one of your ESXi hosts, correct?

Try this; right click said host and select "Reconfigure for VMware HA". I don't know if that will fix/clear the issue, but its worth a try.
 
that's just the VI client.

Sounds like you might have eaten a .vmx file?
 
No idea. All the VMs in the inventory are up and running. I don't notice any missing ones...
